Austin is growing up :(

Austin lost his first baby tooth today. It was a very dramatic process to get it out. I had hoped this day wouldn't come for a long time but I guess he's growing up too fast. I thought that the top ones were supposed to come out first but Austin lost the bottom one. Luckily Jason can handle that kind of gross stuff. I think its disgusting.

Easter fun?

Easter came and went with not much fun. Jason had been sick for 5 weeks prior and I of course got sick the week before Easter. We have not been much fun to be around. Oh well.
Austin turned 6 in March. He didn't have much of a party but we found some Super Mario figures and decorated his cake with them. That was his favorite part of the whole day. We went to the park for a while and just played. I wish that he had been able to have a bigger party but when your short on funds there's not much you can do!

For better or for worse...

So since my last post quite a bit has changed.  Jason has changed jobs. He is now working for his brother installing windows and other remodeling projects. Since the economy has taken a plunge there has not been a lot of work. Now, hopefully, it is getting better. There are supposed to be quite a few jobs coming in this next week and the company wants all of them done for the end of the month. It kinda sucks for me since I will be home with the kids by myself most of the time, I have to get used to that again.
Christi has moved to a new salon.  The one I was at was not busy at all and I was not seeing any new clients after a year.  I made the move about 2 weeks ago and I am already seeing more than I was before.  I love it. It just opened the first of February, however the owner had a place in sugarhouse for 9 years so she has built up the name already. I love it there and hope to stay for a while!
Austin is doing very well in kindergarten.  He talks too much according to the teacher, but we have talked to him about it.  I can't believe that in just a few months he will be in 1st grade. He has grown up way too fast.  I guess there is no way to stop that though.
Hailee is now walking and getting into trouble. She is 19 months old and the doggie door is her favorite toy.  We can't keep her out of it. Luckily it just goes to the laundry room.  She love to hear her voice, and she tries to talk to us like Austin does.  She communicates what she wants very well, but it usually involves screaming and fits.
Lately we have been very fortunate for the church.  They have helped us numerous times and it's time for us to give back what we can, when we can.
I guess that about sums it up for now! Hopefully the next post doesn't take so long to put on!
